Our Story Begins with Soul
Alma skin was born from a deeply personal experience. Several years ago, the founder, wanted to have laser hair removal but was told that she couldn’t because she has an olive skin tone. She remembers sitting in the clinic feeling confused, wondering why she couldn’t have safe and effective treatment because of her skin tone? It just didn’t make sense. Why should anyone have to feel excluded from something that’s designed to build confidence?
That moment of exclusion stayed with the founder to the point where she decided she was going to open her own clinic one day and make sure nobody ever feels excluded. Several years later, the founder become a mother to her son, “Soul” and that changed everything. In Spanish, Alma means soul - which would be a perfect name for a clinic built on heart, purpose and inclusion.

We believe confidence should never be limited by skin tone. For this reason, we carefully researched and invested in one of the most advanced, medical grade laser technology that can deliver safe and effective results for all skin types. People with olive skin and deeper skin tones are often turned away by other clinics but that will never happen at Alma skin. We welcome people with all skin tones and we never want anyone to feel excluded.

Alma Skins core service is laser hair removal but we will be including some other complimentary services such as semipermanent make-up in the near future.
